Review: Barbie

from Roll The Credits · host Frank DiSalvo and Zach Johnson

The most popular toy ever made now has a chance to bring her diversity into the real world. When the beloved toy in BarbieLand begins to fear death her and ken travel to the real world to find the child that is thinking this and fix the issues. A film that on the surface is all pink and sunshine actually tackles some real world issues about toxic masculinity, existential crisis and what it means to be a woman in todays society. A film that might bring you out of your comfort zone but still a good one all together because everyone can notice that "Barbie has a great day, everyday and Ken only has a great day, if Barbie notices him".
