Review: Barton Fink

from Roll The Credits · host Frank DiSalvo and Zach Johnson

In the age of cinema its hard for many writers to get their point across, especially if they are told to write a B wrestling film as their first. This happens to Barton as he goes from widely regarded broadway writer to his first gig in the film industry. What unfolds is betrayal from his idol, no friends except for a murderer, constant anxiety, and a woman dead in his room. A film that deserves more credit due to the story telling and dark humor that it creates. People may think he's a write off, but to us, he's a creator.
