Review: Harakiri

from Roll The Credits · host Frank DiSalvo and Zach Johnson

The way of the warrior is something that has been passed down to generations and many different cultures, but its the war after the battle that may be the hardest. When an aging samurai comes to the front door of a warrior temple asking to commit seppuku, they believe this is a scam to gain money but later find out there is a much deeper meaning to being here. A film that has insanely good cinematography and great pacing somehow gets away with the actual fights not being very long and still telling a compelling story. This is a unique samurai film that deserves to be seen, even if you have to defend your honor to watch it.
