Review: Kung Pow! Enter The Fist

from Roll The Credits · host Frank DiSalvo and Zach Johnson

Grab your gopher-chucks and sit back for this wild ride. Matt chooses a very obscure one as we talk about a Director/actor who took footage from a martial arts movie and spliced it with his own image to create a story of "The Chosen One" training and looking to seek revenge on the people who murdered his family. A film that knows what it is as it super self aware and the idea of splicing in another movie to tell your own is a fun idea. However, for Zach the comedy didn't really land and thats the biggest thing you look for in something like this to stick the landing. If you love this movie you may always defend it but if you don't like this one you probably won't ever check it out again. Either way the quote "you go that way, I'll go home" fits perfectly between the two of us.
