Review: Lake Mungo

The thing about grief is that effects us all differently and takes different amounts of time to get over, especially if your dead daughter shows up in the backyard photo. When a young girl name Alice drowns her family look for any way to come to terms with her death only to discover she is haunting the house they live in. A film that in all honestly is neither scary nor very compelling but rather a documentary style film that is such a sad tale that it feels scary because it could actually happen. While this may not be the best film to continue spooky season with, it is a film that "we can collectively make a decision to move forward with".
