We looked at other sporting action starting with Max Verstappen who clinched a second world title at the Japan Grand Prix in F1, Novak Djokovic, Taylor Fritz, Barbora Krejcikova & Elise Mertens all won singles titles in Tennis, John Ram became a 3-time winner of the Spanish Open in Golf, Ruth Chepgetich & Benson Kipruto won the men and women Chicago Marathon in Athletics, Draymond Green out of the Golden State Warriors team after altercation with Jordan Poole in Basketball. We also discussed Plateau United 2-1 win over Esperance & Rivers United 2-1 win over defending champions Wydad Casablanca in the CAF champions league qualifiers first leg, Kwara United 3-1 win over reigning champions RSB Berkane in the CAF Confederations Cup first league qualifiers. We looked at Nigerians scoring all over Europe and dissected results from Europe’s top 5 leagues including Dortmund’s 2-2 draw with Bayern, AC Milan’s 2-1 win over Juventus & Arsenal’s 3-2 win over Liverpool. Finally we preview the upcoming UEFA champions league matches with focus on AC Milan vs Chelsea at the San Siro and Barcelona vs Inter Milan at the Camp Nou. Enjoy 🙏
