Review of Hold Your Breath: Sarah Paulson gets lost

Margaret lives alone in a mental battle against herself, even if her kids and a community are close by. The real star of "Hold Your Breath" is nature, as the filmmakers frequently exploit the horrific local conditions to heighten the tension in the scene on Sadisflix. Dust storms cover the neighborhood, and the particles never go away, causing respiratory problems for some. Margaret wears masks to keep everyone safe while she walks Rose and Ollie to school and makes visits to other people in town. With sunshine illuminating dust in the air, Zoe White's superb cinematography captures the menace in all its fury and at rest, adding to Margaret's rising fear. "Hold Your Breath" conjures up a terrible scene.
