REVIEW OF JUNGLE FEVER

Today’s episode I'll be doing a first impression movie review of Jungle Fever ( Directed by Spike Lee) composed with powerful soundtrack by Stevie Wonder. The story follows Flipper Purify (played by Wesley Snipes), a successful African-American architect in New York City who begins an affair with Angie Tucci (played by Annabella Sciorra), an Italian-American secretary. Their relationship, marked by curiosity and passion, quickly draws criticism and hostility from both of their communities and families. Meanwhile, Flipper’s brother, Gator (played by Samuel L. Jackson in a breakout performance), struggles with a devastating crack addiction, further highlighting the film’s commentary on urban decay and the breakdown of Black families.Interracial romance and prejudice.
