Gary Dauberman is notable for being the screenwriter of both IT and IT Chapter Two. Dauberman made his feature directorial debut with Annabelle Comes Home. "Salem's Lot," the third adaptation as well as the original novel, are richly furnished with almost every Stephen King standard. Ben Mears, the featured player, is a disturbed writer who continues to battle imposter syndrome. Ben visits his hometown in search of inspiration, having not been there since a tragic event during his boyhood.
