Review of "The Bikeriders": Rebels without a cause

Following the lead of photographer Danny Lyon's book of the same name, which was influenced by Lyon's penetration of Midwest biker clubs between 1965 and 1973, Nichols' research stumbles everytime he overlooks the man at the core of this subculture. "The Bikeriders" is an artistic film that aims to capture the essence of a particular moment through appearance and sound design, but never through actual emotion in BikeRiders on Soap2Day. Nichols chooses Kathy as our entry point into this universe. In 1965, Lyon, who records her interviews for the movie, first runs into her at a laundry. She remembers being taken out to a Vandals-owned bar one evening by a girlfriend. She showed up wearing a purple sweater and white Levis, as is customary.
