Review: 'Speak No wickedness' has been rewritten with less wickedness

It is true that McNairy is vulnerable. McAvoy's twisted manipulation verges on genuine sympathy for Ben's difficulties in his relationship with Louise on Sadisflix. Louise, the strong but flawed protagonist who serves to further establish the plot, is on the other end of the scale. Throughout their vacation, Ben doesn't think about what's best for his family; instead, he makes a pitiful effort to seem in charge in an effort to win Paddy over. It's Louise who pushes back, not only with a performance that deftly plays off Paddy but also with a topical critique of outmoded gender norms. The young actors' performances also contribute to the story's advancement. Playing traumatized youngsters, Alix West Lefler and Dan Hough both exhibit striking depth seldom seen in younger actors in horror films.
