Review: The Holdovers

In life its best to make the best of a bad situation, even if it means being stuck all winter with your most hated teacher. This is the fate that falls on Angus, a boarding school student stuck over the winter break with Paul his teacher. A film that brings you back to a simpler time having a look of being shot on film while using location settings rather than big elaborate set designs. Above all else this is a powerful film that shows a friendship blossom as well as an understanding from two different worlds. We hope this film gets more attention even more so than it already has and if you haven't seen it you should wake up because "wake up, its daylight in the swamp".
