Reviewing Bethel Part 1: Prophecy 101

Personal prophetic words and hearing the voice of God were teachings familiar to me for years. I actually taught others out of a manual about prophetic ministry, which originated from Bethel. After examining the Scriptures, I began to realize I had misappropriated Scripture to others, and I had engaged in mysticism. The Bible seemed to not be enough revelation prior to understanding these things.  I recently listened to a video released by Bethel concerning prophecy in their series, Rediscover Bethel. I opened my Bible along with the video and tested the teaching, as well as watching numerous other videos correlating with this teaching. The goal of this episode is to critique the teaching on prophetic ministry and to see if it agrees with what Scripture has to say about prophecy.
