Revisiting The Force Awakens

I wanted to look back at The Force Awakens. The sequel trilogy is a touchy subject for many Star Wars fans. I am one of the fans that takes issue with how that trilogy panned out. However, I am more forgiving when it comes to episode 7. We should not blame this movie for the failures of the trilogy. Yes, the movie was not as creative as it could have been, but it was a fun movie that set up the trilogy nicely. Many of the building blocks that were created in episode 7 were destroyed in the next two films. So, let's look back at The Force Awakens.
