Rewards

Religious habits can look devoted while hiding a hunger for praise. Jesus warns that generosity, prayer and fasting lose their value before God when people perform them to be seen. The Father sees what happens in secret, knows His children’s needs, and welcomes them to speak to Him as their deeply loving Father. Because Jesus died for sinful people, God forgives those who come in genuine repentance and faith.
