REWIND 002 - Dracula (1979)

"You fools! Do you think with your crosses and your wafers you can destroy me? Me! You do not know how many men have come against me. I am the king of my kind!" We're still on vacation, but there's a new movie out this week in which Nic Cage plays Dracula! (It's called Renfield!) So, with that in mind, we're looking back to when we talked about Frank Langella's turn as the immortal Count during our very first ever Spooky-thon! We are effusive in our love for Donald Pleasance, review the big screen history of Dracula leading up to the release of this film, and discuss what we thing does and does not work about this attempt by Universal to revive their monstrous brand!
