Rewind: Did David have special revelation to the death of his child?

Rapp Report Daily episode 53 When we look at 2 Samuel 12:23 the question must be asked could David have received a special revelation about the death of his child.  We know that David knew his child would die through special revelation from Nathan.   Could David have also received a special revelation about where his child would be after death?  The text does not make that clear.
