Richard Peterson has worked for years in the music and entertainment industry beginning in 1999, Richard worked as an independent music promoter, with his self owned company Icon Entertainment, booking regional and national touring acts in venues in Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois and Minnesota. He took over as the booking agent for Luther’s Blues and The Annex, both prominent music venues in Madison, WI. He developed the Icon Entertainment Battle of the Bands that took place in 2003 and 2004. After the first years run in Madison, he took the show to two additional Wisconsin cities Appleton and Milwaukee. The second year featured 58 bands throughout the year. He is also the sole creator of what is now know as the Maximum Ink Halloween Spooktacular a Halloween concert that has sold out shows each year for the ten years. In 2008, Richard hung up his musical ties and began a career in the horror industry as the director of the Madison Horror Film Festival which showcases short and feature horror films. In 2009 Richard took on the roles of writer, producer and director of the late night horror television show, “Bordello of Horror”. In 2009 and part of 2010, Richard became associate producer on the well received podcast The Graveyard Show based out of L.A.
