RFR 62 : Coeliac Disease, Gluten Intolerance and Autoimmunity with Dr Alessio Fasano

from Health, Happiness & Human Kind · host The Wellness Couch

In Episode 62 of The Real Food Reel I am honoured to be joined by Dr Alessio Fasano, founder of the Centre for Coeliac Research and world-renowned expert in the field of intestinal permeability in the development of coeliac disease and other autoimmune disorders. Dr Fasano is also the author of international book, Gluten Freedom, and was responsible for discovering in 2003 that as many as one in 133 individuals are affected by coeliac disease – making the disease 100 times more common than previously thought. Today Dr Fasano and I discuss all things coeliac disease, gluten intolerance and autoimmunity.  Show Notes:   Gluten Freedom available here: bit.ly/gluten_freedom  Follow Dr Fasano: Online:  http://www.massgeneral.org/children/services/treatmentprograms.aspx?id=1723 https://www.bioceuticals.com.au/education/event/4th-BioCeuticals-Research-Symposium Facebook: MGHFC Twitter: MGHFC The post RFR 62 : Coeliac Disease, Gluten Intolerance and Autoimmunity with Dr Alessio Fasano appeared first on The Wellness Couch.
