In Episode 62 of The Real Food Reel I am honoured to be joined by Dr Alessio Fasano, founder of the Centre for Coeliac Research and world-renowned expert in the field of intestinal permeability in the development of coeliac disease and other autoimmune disorders. Dr Fasano is also the author of international book, Gluten Freedom, and was responsible for discovering in 2003 that as many as one in 133 individuals are affected by coeliac disease – making the disease 100 times more common than previously thought.
