While Orban has been cozying up to Moscow for years, this time, he's getting a hand from both Russia and the U.S. right-wing. As he faces accusations of corruption and an economy that's tanking, the stakes couldn't be higher. Moscow's not shy about backing him up in this tight political race. Meanwhile, in Ukraine, their forces are pushing back in the southeast, reclaiming key territories, including eight settlements in Dnipropetrovsk and four in Zaporizhzhia. Despite Russia's ongoing spring offensive, Ukrainian counterattacks are forcing the Kremlin to rethink its strategy.  But here's where it gets even murkier: Russia's chemical weapons tactics. Yep, they're still using banned chemical agents, with over 400 documented instances in March alone. Riot control gases like CS and CN are being deployed on the frontlines, pushing Ukrainian soldiers out of cover and into direct fire. This is in clear violation of international law, and it adds a whole new layer of brutality to the conflict. Meanwhile, Russia's dealing with losses at the top, with Lieutenant General Alexander Otroshchenko dying in a plane crash last week. Talk about a rough week for the Kremlin.  And finally, in classic Russia fashion, the government is struggling to manage its energy exports, with Ukrainian drone attacks severely damaging key oil ports like Primorsk and Ust-Luga. The world's watching as Russia's economic lifeline comes under increasing pressure. Can they hold on? And will Ukraine keep up the pressure?
