Rhode Island Ladd School

The Ladd School for the feeble minded was located on a farm located in Exeter RI. In its 86 year history over 5000 souls were lost at the Ladd School. Started with 8 clients later named inmates the population grew out of control. Once you went to the Ladd school you never returned or it was unlikely. Dr Ladd released over a third of the inmates and they were still over 1000 inmates at the farm.
