Robert Harper first started stock market investing in the 1960's with no real strategy. He had mixed results. Being a history buff in college he turned to studying the history of market performance back to the mid 1920's. He saw patterns when the market was likely to have an up year and when it probably would have a down year. It wasn't perfect but over the years the results have been outstanding. He's the author of "The Almost Perfect Investment Strategy".
