Ricardo Forster es un filósofo y ensayista argentino, doctor en filosofía por la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. Es investigador y profesor de la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad de Buenos Aires y de la Facultad Libre de Rosario. En 2008 creó, junto a Nicolás Casullo, Horacio Verbitsky, Jaime Sorín y otros, el Espacio Carta Abierta. Condujo el programa de televisión Grandes Pensadores del Siglo XX4 , emitido por Canal Encuentro. Es miembro del comité de dirección de la revista Pensamiento de los Confines5 y colaborador habitual del diario Página/12. En la presentación de su nuevo libro: "Nicolás Casullo. Semblanza de un intelectual comprometido", Forster asegura que Casullo "Ha sido uno de los grandes intelectuales de la tradición ensayística argentina".
