Richard Donnor - Made Us Believe A Man Could Fly

Jacques thought the passing of one of the greatest directors of the 2nd half of the last century deserves a rambling sideshow where he mis-quotes ‘facts” about his career and his undead wife (who is arguably more successful than he was.) And Biff obliged.- Donner pretty much created the big budget super hero movie with Superman The Movie (arguable one of the greatest tights and capes movies till this day!)  Suspense horror legend with The Oman as well as Jacques (and maybe Joe’s) favorite Christmas movie Scrooged!  There wasn’t a genre he didn’t kick ass in.  He even in his TV days directed episodes of Gilligan’s Island, Get Smart and The Banana Splits… I know, right!?
