From unassuming beginnings to international acclaim, Richard's journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and love for the sport. In 2023, Richard and Consulent de Prelet Z won the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup in Oslo, Norway and one week later, won the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup in Helsinki, Finland. In February, Richard placed 2nd with Team Ireland at the FEI Longines League of Nations Cup in Abu Dhabi. Earlier this month, Richard won the 1.45m GCTV Speed Class at the Longines Global Champions Tour in Cannes, France.
