Richard Mitchell, the Chief Executive of University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, re-joined the Trust as chief executive in October 2021 having worked as the chief executive of Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for four years. Richard is also the Chair of the East Midlands Cancer Alliance and Midlands Regional and Talent Leadership Board.
