Richardson Returns, Colts QB Situation Unresolved
from NFL News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson, drafted fourth overall in 2023, is back on the field after requesting a trade in February. Despite his return, the team is still in quarterback limbo, with Richardson and Riley Leonard splitting reps evenly during offseason workouts. Richardson, who missed last season due to an eye injury, is in good shape and has been training in Florida. Coach Shane Steichen has not confirmed whether Richardson is competing for the backup spot, but both quarterbacks are in the mix as GM Chris Ballard searches for a trade.
