This past Sunday, Pastor Deric delivered a message titled “Riches and Honour Come from the Lord”, based on 1 Chronicles 29:10–20. Through this sermon, we were reminded that everything we possess is ultimately rooted in God’s gracious rule and purposeful design.The message unfolded through five key truths:• God is the owner of everything (vv. 10–11)• God is the distributor of all wealth and honour (vv. 12–13)• God is the receiver of all our wealth (vv. 14–16)• God is the auditor of our motives in giving (v. 17)• God is the protector of the greatest treasures of the heart (vv. 18–20)This message calls us to humility, gratitude, and wholehearted devotion—reminding us that true riches are found not in what we hold, but in whom we trust.
