Horse: LJT Engaards Solitaire Lives: ShropshireChampionships: Paralympic Games (2008, 2004 - Reserve); Worlds (2010, 2007); Europeans Ricky made his debut in 2002, the following year he was a member of the British team for the 2003 World Championships for Disabled Riders. 2008 saw Ricky win his first Paralympic medal, Individual Silver - Grade Ib FreestyleDisability: Ricky has cerebral palsy, at the age of four his physiotherapist recommended he took up riding as it helps to assist with balance and muscle development. Ricky used to have a lot of spasticity in his muscles until he had an operation when he was 10, which reduced the spasticity in his muscles and stopped the disability getting worse.
