Over the course of the episode we talk about how this represent's a quantum leap in Peckinpah's filmmaking, how it establishes a number of classic Peckinpah tropes as well some of his recurring cast and we also get into how this is more hopeful than your usual Peckinpah fare. Plus, we talk about how it is a film so good that one of the leads (Randolph Scott) retired after its release as he thought it was such a perfect capstone to his storied career.Follow us on Bluesky and FacebookWe are also proudly part of the Directors Chair Network
