#RideTheHoh Ferry Name Proposal
from Sass, Stories & Sarcasm Hosted by Mary Conyard & Brian Ramaswami
This week we talk about two topics we've talked about before on the podcast: the broken McDonald's ice cream machines and the Washington State ferry contest! Our friends Emily and Mary, along with Emily’s husband Devon and Mary’s boyfriend Quinn, submitted a proposal for the ferry naming contest, with a proposal to name the ferry after Washington's Hoh Rainforest on the peninsula. They join us on this episode to talk about how they came up with the idea, the proposal, and the public outreach they've done to promote the ferry name, including the catchy hashtag, #RideTheHoh. Visit their website at www.hohferry.com, and follow their ferry page on Facebook and Instagram. Thanks for listening!
