At the same time, it is located near what was originally Ridgewood's center, and reflects its colonial past. The tour includes several historic houses, including the Zabriskie-Schedler house, along with a footbridge over the Saddle River. A subset of this area, known as Salem Ridge, was developed in the 1950’s.
