Right of reply: Cilliers Brink tells his side of the story

    On Monday, we spoke to the national spokesperson of the ANC, Mahlengi Bhengu-Motsiri about the party’s interpretation of the current situation in the country, given recent revelations at the Madlanga Commission and Parliament’s Ad Hoc Committee that have exposed significant allegations of corruption and criminal infiltration within the country’s criminal justice system. When articulating her responses, Mahlengi also raised the issue of media bias in relation to the DA, arguing that media outlets rarely cover the Democratic Alliance in a negative light. She brought up Cilliers Brink’s name and asked why is the media so quiet on alleged links between Vusimuzi ‘Cat’ Matlala and the former mayor of Tshwane.
