Righteousness Revealed

Paul reveals that having spiritual advantages doesn't make you spiritually better off. The Jewish people had God's Word but still fell short of His glory, just as Christians today can know the gospel without truly living it. The law serves to show us our sin, not save us from it. Justification is a judicial term where God declares us not guilty based on faith in Jesus Christ, not our works. This righteousness belongs to God and He gives it to those who trust in Christ alone. Salvation is a gift received by faith, involving redemption, propitiation, and divine forbearance. We all fall short of God's glory, which is Jesus Christ Himself, but through faith we can be declared righteous.
