Ring the Bells, Share the Joy: How You Can Help This Holiday Season with the Salvation Army (Aired 10/16/2025)

As the holiday season approaches, The Salvation Army of Green Valley is gearing up for one of its most meaningful times of the year.Tammy Riemath joins Andy Taylor on KGVY to share how the community can get involved through bell ringing, the Angel Tree program, and the annual community luncheons. Listeners will soon spot the familiar red kettles across town beginning in November, and volunteers are encouraged to sign up at RegisterToRing.com to help spread holiday cheer.Every dollar collected stays right here in Green Valley, supporting local families in need. This year’s Angel Tree program will provide gifts for 300 children, 50 seniors, and 5 families, and local organizations are invited to host their own trees to help make the season brighter.The Salvation Army will also host Thanksgiving and Christmas Community Luncheons at the West Center on November 27th and December 24th, offering a warm meal and fellowship to all who attend.
