RIP Chris - Sand Box #2 throwing sand - by Craig Sicilia Tonight we are going to remember Chris Bartlame as I finish up a second memorial of one of our TBI Leaders who has fought the fight before us and has passed on to a better place and some of his challenges promoting the survivor agenda in the 90's and what it was like then. We will transition to our sand box (tbi world) today and the struggles that the brain injury has, why we can't unify as a community.  Why like so many other disabilities we are not able to stand up with one voice and change this stereo type that the word brain injury sets into people minds good and bad.  Why our disability is discounted by society as significant and causing brain injury to stay hidden into the corners of society leaving survivors isolated, alone and very much afraid.  We are the silent epidemic because of these issues and it is time. It is time for all of us around the country and world to stand up and say - World Here we are, Loud and Proud- I am great just as i am, I am a survivor and I am my own best expert and stop talking for me. Please contribute to this show if you are a survivor and have advise for other survivors how to make a difference, How to join together to have a bigger voice.  But mostly how to love the life we live and not let depression set in on us because of what others might believe or think. as well going to share some music that got me boos and not ready for prime time ruff and raw
