RIP John Singleton + How Snoop's Weed Smoking Almost Ruined "Baby Boy!"
from Sana G Morning Show On Demand
As the Sana G Morning Show remembered John Singleton a day after his passing, they shared exclusive audio from an interview Producer Max's old radio show did with the legendary director. The audio comes from a 2007 interview with Mr. Chase & Foolish on 97.9 WJLB in Detroit. In the clips which were shared throughout the morning (and podcast) John says he wanted to make movies that would have the audience yelling at the screen. The "Boyz in the Hood" director spoke about how he always kept his "hood movies" classy by using pieces from Shakespeare and other classical literature. The "Baby Boy" director had everyone laughing when he told a story about how Snoop Dogg's weed smoking gave the crew a contact high and they ended up shooting the whole scene completely out of focus! The "Poetic Justice" director also said that if Tupac was still around, "none of these other black superstars would even be relevant." Please SUBSCRIBE & Leave a REVIEW!
