Six times in the gospels, it says if you try to keep your life, you will lose it. If you hold onto your life and live without any risk towards God, you will lose it. But if you lose your soulish life, for God's sake, you will gain life. Our trust test in life is whether we are going to live for our own interests or our Master's. Make peace with the uncomfortable feeling of risk. God took a risk and trusted us. Will we return the favor and risk it all for Him?
