Risky Business
Although it sometimes gets relegated to being another run-of-the-mill 80s teen comedy, Risky Business actually has a lot more going for it. The visuals, the score, the writing... across the board, this is probably a lot more sophisticated than a lot of people remember. It certainly wasn't what any of us were expecting the first time we watched it, but it definitely made an impression. How does it fare almost 40 years later? Let's find out... Topics include: our initial expectations that this was going to be closer in tone to a John Hughes movie, some interesting recollections from the cast about working with Tom Cruise, our own memories of being left home alone at this age, the alternate ending, the return of Role Reversal, and much more!
