Along with Maria’s guest Jeff (her partner/B4B’s producer), we talk FP’s inconsistencies about what his childhood was like with Grandpa FP as Jughead discovers a Baxter Brothers revelation that threatens Stonewall Prep’s rep and may connect to the flash-forwards; are horrified by Cheryl’s family continuing to be more shitty every time we learn something new; and cheer on both Veronica on as she stands up to her murderous family and Archie as he tries to do the honorable thing, saving kids from being trapped in Dodger’s particular portion of the cycle of poverty. We discuss Bughead Season 2 parallels and are generally in awe of how adorable and communicative an investigative duo they got to be in this episode. Jeff thought Chic’s name was 'Chip' this whole time — and of course, we shriek and talk about all the things we learn about the Charles-Chic connection!
