Riverflow Royále 43 - the Disk Jockey

After countless mails and messages, Nicola alias tadoh, has finally joined Adam at the Riverflow Studio in the Frequent Flyer Lounge. He arrived from a quite wet Riverglow Festival, but he is dry, the sun is out and he is doing fine. Adam and Tadoh are seemingly happy to finally meet eachother in person and find out that they both skipped the Fusion Festival for the first time in 13 years. Tadoh tells how he spend the dark years of the corona pandemic, and we here some nice tunes of his DJ performance on the Riverglow mainstage. Listen to Tadoh's music here.

After the supernice musicbreak, the both start to talk about if a DJ counts as a real musician or more as kind of a traveladviser (Reiseleiter), where to split between an instrument and a computer. Tadoh explains what is facenating him about sound, music, and the historic journey of that.

Adam feels that an hour is way to short to get into a good conversation with someone, and tadoh adds that he feels the same way about djing. But as time is passing by, Adam pulls out his standard questions, and we learn from tadoh where his nic is coming from, how he came to music, the latest funny anecdote that just happened to him, what the world became since the invetion of the internet, what he needs on an lonesome island, how much his beautyful kids impact his life, what he is still learing, how he inveted a time machine, where and when he would go with it, that he would quite enjoy talking about his timetravels at parties, who he is looking up to, what last lesson he learned and how easy life sometimes can be.
