Riverview creates Timbits Minor Hockey

from Voices of Riverview Hosted by Tosh Taylor

Did you know Timbits Minor Hockey started right here at the Byron Dobson Arena? In 1982 Gary O'Neill's youngest son Corey registered for Riverview Minor Hockey, the jersey left much to be desired so Gary and his Tim Hortons Restaurants in the Greater Moncton Area decided to sponsor them, the rest we can safely say is history! Now over 89,000 kids take part in the Timbits program across Canada! Joining me in today's interview is Craig O'Neill (Gary's Son) and Barry Pineau (Coach of the very 1st Timbits hockey team)
