Tied for the team lead with 53 tackles (2.0 TFL), adding two forced fumbles and one recovery. Also defended four passes (two INT, two PBU). Was named a semifinalist for the 2022 William V. Campbell Trophy. Batted down USC’s final pass of the game to secure the comeback win over the No. 7-ranked Trojans. It capped a nine-tackle night for Hubert, his third straight game with at least nine takedowns. Had a career-best 12 tackles and a Rice-Eccles Stadium record 70-yard interception return came in the Homecoming win vs. Oregon State. First career pick came vs. Southern Utah, a 39-yard runback for a score. Logged eight tackles at Florida and a 47-yard fumble recovery return, the longest by a Ute since 2019. 2021: Saw action as a reserve in the Rose Bowl Game vs. No. 6 Ohio State. Scored 50 career touchdowns (23 receiving, 15 rushing and 12 return) with 90 career receptions for 1,747 yards (19.4 ypc). As a senior in 2015, he had 41 receptions for 783 yards and nine TDs, and 73 rushes for 727 yards (10.0 ypc) and 15 TDs. Six interceptions (1 TD) and 61 tackles in 2015, when he also returned five kickoffs for touchdowns. As a junior, he caught 49 passes for 964 yards and 14 touchdowns. Also had six interceptions and 71 tackles in 2014. Ran track and had personal bests of 6’7” in the high jump, 11.23 in the 100-meter dash and 14.65 in the 110-meter hurdles.
