RN Maureen Dugan Talks About Pivotal Union Case Janus v. AFSCME

from Nurse Talk · host Nurse Talk

This week U.S. Supreme Court justice Neil Gorsuch, President Trump’s appointee, is expected to be the deciding vote in the pivotal union case Janus v AFSCME. But during oral arguments in the case on Feb. 26, Gorsuch gave no sign which side he’ll take. He asked no questions, made little eye contact with attorneys, and often rested his chin in his hands. California Nurses Association RN, Maureen Dugan spoke with Nurse Talk about the devastating affects this decision could have on Nurses and their patients.
