from Citizen Frame · host CitizenFrame Productions

Welcome to another enlightening episode of Citizen Frame Mini Retrospective, where we delve into the distinctive charm of the Roadhouse Trilogy. This cult classic, peppered with iconic 80s ostentation, continues to captivate viewers with its blend of hilarity, audacity, and pure entertainment. We embark on a journey from the original Roadhouse, through Roadhouse 2: The Last Call and into the boundaries of its recent requel. Join us as we analyze the quirky characters, the Western influence theme, and the daring bar shenanigans that have marked this series with undying affection. Farther into our cinematic journey, we encounter the sequel "Roadhouse 2: Last Call". Here, we scrutinize the repeated plot elements, less savory characters, and the potential flair that possibly fell flat. Despite the sequel falling short compared to the original, our hope stays alive, promising to delve deeper into the inflamed Roadhouse requel with Jake Gyllenhaal and Conor McGregor in our upcoming episode. Frame by Frame Frame by Frame Here are two English creatives on a journey of sight and sound. This time we're making a run of film reviews. Now, we're not sticking to the rules of talking only about what is popular or hot in the cinema. We have a responsabilty to find all kinds of films, especially those that may be slipping through the gaps, or movies that we loved that nobody seems to remember. So from old to the new, from the bizarre and the downright bad. We're going to sit through all that we can, and on a weekly basis, you can listen to our banter: coming from not only film fanatics, but lovers of the craft. We don't claim to be experts, but we do have a point of view. Mostly, we're doing this because it is fun and I hope you find that is true for you.
