For 101 år siden tok to flybåter av fra Ny-Ålesund. Målet var Nordpolen – men så langt kom de aldri. Roald Amundsens flyekspedisjon i 1925 ble mislykket og vellykket på samme tid - og blir samtidig starten på luftskipet "Norge" sin ferd over Polhavet året etter.
