Roanoke College Presidential Poll, New Entertainment Venue, "Not Your Average Weekend"

Roanoke College has hired an environmental services contractor to investigate claims the school has a higher-than-average cancer rate. After winning Virginia by more than ten percent in 2020 over Donald Trump - the largest margin for a Democratic presidential candidate since FDR in 1944 - Joe Biden isn't doing nearly as well in the latest Roanoke College statewide survey. According to a report from the Roanoke City Police Department, officers used force against residents in 323 situations last year, up from 241 in 2022. Roanoke County could be home to a new entertainment venue if approved by the board of supervisors. A 3-day weekend event series is kicking off tomorrow with a block party in Downtown Roanoke.
