Rob Wright Shines as BYU’s New Leader | BYU Cougars Basketball News

Rob Wright just shattered records with 101 points in a pro-am game, shooting 58% from the field and hitting 14 threes — setting a new Powder League standard. With key offseason departures, Wright is now BYU’s lone returning starter and undisputed leader, tasked with guiding a roster of newcomers. Already a standout last season with 600+ points and 18 PPG, he’s poised for even bigger numbers with more support. Coaches believe he’s matured enough to make a massive leap, and analysts are already calling him a preseason All-American. This explosive performance proves he can carry a team — and all eyes are on him to lead BYU to another tournament run.
