Kampioensfeestjes, nachtelijke voiceberichten en een tuin die bijna klaar is… kortom, weer een week waarin veel hoogtepunten gevierd werden! Ook mogen we deze aflevering weer mooie prijzen van DHL weggeven en zijn we weer op zoek naar de mooiste verhalen.Maar… deze aflevering gaat over niemand minder dan onze eigen Robin de Kruijf. Afgelopen week won ze wederom de Champions League en deze finale bleek ook nog eens haar laatste volleybalwedstrijd te zijn. Na 61 medailles heeft ze namelijk besloten om te stoppen met topvolleybal en in deze aflevering licht ze haar keuze toe.Aan de hand van haar levensloop bespreken we de carrière van Robin. De eerste jaren huilend bij haar moeder in de auto en in haar profjaren altijd op zoek naar de balans tussen ontspanning en focus. Het heeft uiteindelijk geleid tot onder meer twee Champions League-zeges en liefst acht Italiaanse kampioenschappen. Haar erelijst is te lang om helemaal uit te typen.“Robin the Queen”.
