Robotics In Japan - An Industrious and Humble Country

from Truth Detective · host Adore Podcast Network

Did you know that robotics and technology are huge industries in Japan? Seldom do. With all the talk about China's technology, the metaverse, technocracy, and artificial intelligence taking over, we have hardly batted an eye at Japan's robotic and technology industries and the anime art form based on giant robots through graphic novels, TV, and movies.  Not to worry, though. The Japanese are winning in big areas using robots to help their aging population, the disadvantaged, and early education of children in schools everywhere in Japan. It's true. The Japanese are industrious, intelligent, and believe in the future but are also humble, loving and want to help those individuals that need it the most. That's unfortunately an amazing and unbelievable trait nowadays. And if you're wondering, the Japanese are already at the top of their game with programming, algorithms, and robotics...easily. Just because Japan hasn't yelled it from the rooftops doesn't mean they aren't light years ahead of the countries we are wary of.  The website links in this episode: Harvard Business Review - "How Japan Uses AI And Robotics To Solve Social Issues And Achieve Economic Growth": https://hbr.org/sponsored/2020/02/how-japan-uses-ai-and-robotics-to-solve-social-issues-and-achieve-economic-growth Japan-Guide "Robots In Japan (Robotic and Companion Robots)": https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e2328.html Wikipedia - Definition of the word "mecha" in relation to Anime art: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mecha International Robot Federation website - "Robot Race The World's Top 10 Automated Countries" (“International Robot Exhibition 2022”): 1. https://ifr.org/ifr-press-releases/news/robot-race-the-worlds-top-10-automated-countries More information about the exhibition and other info.: https://factsanddetails.com/japan/cat26/sub163/item873.html Tokyo-esque - "AI Market In Japan" - Other many useful robotic applications that are currently being utilized in Japan https://tokyoesque.com/ai-market-in-japan/  Japanese robotics in early education - article from the “edvocate” website "Five Reasons To Teach Robotics In School": https://www.theedadvocate.org/five-reasons-to-teach-robotics-in-schools/ Go to the website to listen to episodes, and read the show notes with links mentioned on the episodes: http://truthdetectivepodcast.com Email: [email protected]
